Fields4Ever Open Call for Cotton Producers
Supporting innovation in soil health and cotton quality
Are you a cotton producer interested in improving soil health, implementing sustainable or regenerative practices, or evaluating how agronomic management may influence your crop?
Fields4Ever, Biome Makers’ global initiative dedicated to soil health conservation and monitoring, is inviting cotton producers worldwide to participate in a new research initiative focused on understanding soil health and exploring the relationship between the soil microbiome and cotton fiber quality.
Selected participants will receive BeCrop® advanced soil microbiome analysis completely free of charge, along with the materials required for sample collection. The results will provide science-based insights into the biological status and functionality of their soils and help support more informed agronomic decisions.

Fields4Ever is a Biome Makers initiative dedicated to the conservation and monitoring of soil health worldwide.
Through this open call, we aim to support cotton producers in better understanding the health of their soils while exploring the relationship between soil biological functionality and cotton fiber quality.
BeCrop® advanced soil microbiome analysis

Selected participants will receive, completely free of charge, sample collection materials and advanced BeCrop® soil microbiome analysis.
The analysis provides insights into:

Nutrient Bioavailability: The ability of soil microorganisms to mobilize nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, and other nutrients.

Crop Health: Early identification of pathogens, natural biocontrol agents, and plant growth-promoting microorganisms.

Overall Soil Quality: Insights into soil biodiversity, functionality, sustainability, and resilience to stress factors.

Sample collection and shipping
BeCrop® results
Complete the application form with your contact information and details about your cotton farm, management practices, and available historical data.
Selected participants will receive the materials needed for sample collection and will be required to provide both soil and cotton fiber samples from the same study area.
Please note: Participants are responsible for the logistical costs of shipping their samples. Biome Makers will manage and provide the necessary import and customs permits and will indicate the appropriate destination laboratory for each participant.
